Beacon Integrated Solutions was selected by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management, Office of Facilities Maintenance and Management, as a qualified firm under the Energy Advisory Services contract.

Municipalities and State Agencies are now able to contract with Beacon directly for critical energy advisory services including commodity advisory and procurement support, energy analysis support, performance contracting program support and renewable energy program support.

Beacon Supports Solar Photovoltaics in Municipalities

Beacon is providing Owner’s Agent support services including procurement and project management support for solar photovoltaic projects to the Town of Lenox, Town of Lee, Town of Shirley, Shirley Water District, Medway School District, Town of Sunderland and Town of Leverett.

Projects include both ground and roof-mounted installations for solar photovoltaic systems sized from 132 kilowatts to over 6 megawatts. Beacon provides technical support, economic analysis, net metering support and commercial contracting support.

Utz Quality Foods Buys Wachusett Potato Chip Co.

Beacon Integrated Solutions long-term client, the Wachusett Potato Chip Co., was acquired by Utz Quality Foods, Inc. of Hanover, PA.

Utz purchased Wachusett Potato Chip’s physical plant, trucks, equipment and brand, as well as hiring all of its employees. Beacon is pleased to continue working with the Wachusett Potato Chip team and to provide extended energy supply advisory and procurement support to the Utz family.

Beacon provides comprehensive commodity advisory and procurement services helping Utz Quality Foods take advantage of market pricing for electricity and natural gas supply.

Beacon is providing Utz Quality Foods with on-going energy advisory and management services including serving as the liaison to the local utility distribution companies for the purpose providing rate analysis, classification and energy efficiency.

Beacon assisted King Associates in developing and implementing a long-term supply and demand-side strategy. We analyzed their energy use profile, conducted field tests for operational deficiencies and developed a strategic upgrade implementation program to reduce operating costs.
